Pentagon leak suspect indicted for mishandling classified information.

Jack Teixeira, a Massachusetts Air National Guardsman, has been indicted on six counts of willful retention and transmission of national defense information. He is accused of leaking classified Defense Department documents on Discord, a social media platform primarily used by online gamers. Teixeira held a top secret security clearance and accessed classified documents containing national defense information from a classified workstation at Otis U.S. Air National Guard Base and transcribed text in the documents which he then published on the platform. He remains in federal custody.
