Philadelphia Teen Arrested in FBI Terrorism Investigation for Alleged Communication with Terrorist Group

A 17-year-old male has been arrested in Philadelphia in connection with a terrorism probe. The teenager was allegedly communicating with the terrorist group Katibat al Tawhid wal Jihad (KTJ) and had acquired chemicals and materials to build a weapon of mass destruction. The FBI conducted an investigation and searched two locations, leading to the arrest. The case has been filed in juvenile court, but the district attorney's office is seeking to have it moved to adult court.
