Police identify suspect in deadly Brooklyn stabbing spree.

The NYPD is searching for Joevani Vale, a suspect believed to have killed an elderly man in an elevator in the Wyckoff Gardens NYCHA complex in Brooklyn. Vale is also suspected of attacking two women earlier that day, one of whom was slashed in Boerum Hill. The victim and Vale both lived in the same building, and police were stationed outside Vale's apartment on Sunday. Vale has three prior arrests on his record. The public is being asked to call Crime Stoppers with any information.
