Police investigate suspected grenade in Downtown Austin, no threat found.

Police responded to a suspected grenade in downtown Austin, which turned out to be hollowed out and a suspect is now in custody. Multiple streets around the Sixth Street Historic District were blocked off and at least one building was evacuated. The bomb squad was called in to x-ray the suspected grenade, but there is no known threat to the public and roads are being opened back up.
