A suspect accused of firing at patrol cars in Salem has been taken into custody after being shot by an officer during an attempted arrest. The suspect, who has not been identified, is being treated at Salem Health. No officers were injured in the incident. The suspect is believed to be responsible for shooting at two patrol cars on Sunday night. The Oregon State Police will lead the investigation into the shooting.
