Police Officer Injured in High-Speed Chase and Crash

A Montgomery police officer was injured in a chase and crash after a state trooper attempted to pull over a suspect vehicle without required tags. The suspect fled, leading to a pursuit in which the suspect vehicle crashed into the pursuing officer, causing severe damage. The injured officer, identified as DeAnthony Green, is currently undergoing tests after initially being unresponsive. The suspect, Richard Moore, has been identified and charges are pending.
