Police officers recount response to Nashville school shooting.

Metro Nashville officers who stopped the mass shooting at The Covenant School last week spoke with the media Tuesday afternoon. Six people, including three children, were shot and killed by 28-year-old Audrey Hale at the Covenant School in Green Hills. Officers recalled the moments leading up to the take down of the shooter, with one officer stating "Our job is to run toward it." The shooter was armed with two assault-style rifles and one handgun and fired 152 rounds throughout the shooting. Hale legally bought seven firearms from five different gun stores in the area.
