Philadelphia police have identified 14-year-old Wort Whipple as the teenager who was shot and killed on a SEPTA platform in West Philadelphia. The shooting was instigated by an altercation between the victim and the suspect, which turned physical when the teen hit the male suspect. The suspect allegedly pulled out a gun and fired at least two shots, fatally wounding the teen before fleeing the scene. Police have released photos of the suspect and are asking for anyone with information to come forward.
