Political Volunteer Turned Murder Suspect: Brooklyn Man Fatally Stabs Mother

A 30-year-old man from Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, who had aspirations of running for office and had volunteered for a local politician, was arrested and charged with murder after allegedly stabbing his mother multiple times during an argument over money. The son answered the door when a concerned neighbor knocked and admitted to knocking his mother unconscious. The victim's ex-husband stated that the son wanted to talk to his mother about money.
