Prosecutors in Idaho have decided to seek the death penalty for Bryan Kohberger, who is accused of murdering four University of Idaho students in November. Kohberger, a former Ph.D. criminology student and teaching assistant at Washington State University, has been charged with four counts of first-degree murder and one count of burglary. The victims were likely asleep when they were attacked and suffered multiple stab wounds from a large, military-style knife. Kohberger's DNA is a near-exact match to the DNA found on a knife sheath at the scene of the murders.
