Shoplifter receives prison sentence for biting off Nordstrom security guard's earlobe.

Ashlie Ruth Clark, a woman from Oregon, has been sentenced to over five years in prison for biting off part of a security guard's earlobe while stealing merchandise from a Nordstrom store. Clark resisted the guards and bit one of them during the scuffle, chewing off "at least a half inch" of their earlobe. She pleaded guilty to second-degree assault and first-degree attempted robbery and was handed a sentence of 70 months in prison followed by three years of post-prison supervision after her release.
