Standoffs and Assaults: A Recap of Recent Incidents in Madison and New Haven

A man was taken into custody after a standoff in a Madison subdivision in Mississippi. Police responded to a call about a man assaulting a woman and found the injured woman on the sidewalk. Attempts to make contact with the suspect were initially unsuccessful, and it was discovered that a 4-year-old child was also inside the home. Special Response Teams were activated and negotiations eventually led to the suspect's arrest. The child was found unharmed, and the suspect now faces charges of aggravated domestic violence and kidnapping.
