Suspect Arrested for Hit-and-Run and Officer Dragging in Minneapolis

A man accused of dragging a Minneapolis police officer while fleeing last week has been arrested and is also suspected in a deadly hit-and-run last month. The suspect, 27-year-old Presley Aaron Peltier, was found slumped over inside a vehicle but managed to escape when officers attempted to arrest him. However, he was apprehended again after a search and is now being held in the Hennepin County jail. The Minneapolis Police Department expressed gratitude that the officer was not seriously injured and hopes the arrest will bring justice and closure to the family of the hit-and-run victim.
