Suspect arrested in fatal shooting of Amazon driver on I-5.

A 29-year-old man, Andrew Christopher Watson, has been arrested on suspicion of homicide in the shooting death of an Amazon big rig driver, Ilkhom Shodiev, along I-5 in Lathrop, California earlier this month. Watson was taken into custody in Manteca after search warrants were served on Saturday. Shodiev was driving northbound on Interstate 5 when he was shot for unknown reasons, causing the big rig to crash into parked cars at a nearby business before hitting a building. Watson has a criminal record dating back to 2013. The motive for the shooting is still under investigation.
