Suspect in Fatal Route 24 Hit-and-Run Surrenders to Police

A 33-year-old driver surrendered to Massachusetts State Police in connection with a hit-and-run crash that killed a woman earlier this week. The crash occurred on Route 24 in West Bridgewater, and the driver fled the scene after striking a Honda Accord. The Honda was then hit by a pickup truck and caught fire, killing the driver. The suspect has been booked on charges including leaving the scene of a crash that caused personal injury resulting in death and is expected to be arraigned Thursday afternoon in Brockton District Court.
