Suspects Arrested in Downtown Seattle and DC Shootings, One Fatality Reported.

Seattle police officers arrested a suspect in a shooting that occurred on Friday afternoon near 3rd Avenue and Pike Street. The victim was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. The suspect was found near 8th Avenue and Stewart Street and was taken into custody. A handgun was recovered, and the suspect is prohibited from legally possessing a firearm. The 40-year-old man will be booked into the King County Jail for felony assault and unlawful possession of a firearm.
