Tacoma Community Mourns Tragic Bar Shooting, Suspect Due in Court

Friends and family members are mourning the loss of two people who were shot and killed at Alleycat Patio & Lounge in Tacoma. The shooting, which occurred early Sunday morning, was not random, according to the Tacoma Police Department. The suspect allegedly had an interaction with one of the victims inside the bar, while the other four victims were bystanders. The alleged shooter later turned himself in to the police. The victims have not been officially identified, but friends and family named them as Monic Lashaye Swan and James Reha. The bar was described as a family gathering place, and the motive behind the shooting remains unknown. The suspect has been arrested on charges of first-degree murder and assault.
