Teen Arrested After High-Speed Cross-Bay Car Chase Ends in Standoff

A teenager driving a stolen car led police on a high-speed chase from Contra Costa County to San Francisco, then back across the Bay Bridge to Richmond, where he surrendered after a standoff. The chase began when a Contra Costa County Sheriff's deputy attempted to stop the stolen car, but the driver fled. The car struck two other vehicles and a police dog before the driver abandoned the car and fled on foot into an apartment complex. After a standoff, the driver surrendered.
