Teen Charged as Adult for Killing Michigan Election Canvasser

A 15-year-old has been charged as an adult with murder in the shooting death of a Michigan election canvasser. The victim, Theodore Lawson, was a member of the county's Board of Canvassers and had no apparent connection to the shooter's political activities or beliefs. The shooting occurred after the teen asked Lawson for a dollar. Security video captured the incident, and one of the three teens involved admitted to witnessing the 15-year-old shoot Lawson.
