Teenager's Disturbing Plot: Multiple Mass Shootings Planned, Marjory Stoneman Douglas High Targeted

A 19-year-old recent high school graduate, Henry Horton IV, was arrested in Florida after police discovered handwritten plans to carry out mass shootings at multiple locations, including Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School. Horton admitted to planning the attacks for attention or fame and had conducted reconnaissance at two targets. He was charged with written threats to kill or do harm and is being held on a $1 million bond. Horton had previously admitted himself to a mental health facility for similar thoughts and had expressed plans to kill 15 people at his former high school on his 22nd birthday in 2026.
