Texas Man Murders Girlfriend Over Abortion Decision

A Texas man, Harold Thompson, shot and killed his girlfriend, Gabriella Gonzalez, in a Dallas parking lot after she returned from receiving an abortion he opposed. Thompson is being held in the Dallas County Jail on a murder charge without bond. Most abortions have been banned in Texas since the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade last summer. Thompson had already been charged with assault in March after he was accused of choking a woman.
