Texas Police Investigate Possible Serial Killer Linked to Multiple Cold Cases.

DNA evidence from a 2019 murder case in Austin, Texas, has linked Raul Meza Jr. to the crime. Meza was arrested on a murder charge related to the death of Gloria Lofton. The Austin Police Department is conducting an internal review of how investigators pursued the case upon obtaining the DNA match. Meza has also been arrested on a murder charge in connection with the death of his Pflugerville roommate, and authorities believe he could be connected to 8-10 additional homicides. Meza was previously convicted of murdering Kendra Page, 8, in 1982, and has been called a "serial killer" by Interim City Manager Bruce Mills.
