Texas Woman Arrested for Threatening Judge Overseeing Trump's Election Case

Abigail Jo Shry, a Texas woman, has been charged with threatening to kill U.S. District Judge Tanya Chutkan, who is overseeing Donald Trump's election interference case. Shry left a voicemail in which she used racial slurs, called the judge a "slave," and threatened to kill her and Houston-area Democratic Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee. Shry has been detained and charged with transmitting threats. She admitted to making the call but claimed she had no plans to carry out the threats. Trump was warned by the judge to stop making inflammatory posts on social media, and Shry could face up to five years in prison for the threats.
