A "flash mob" of about 400 teenagers disrupted the Armed Forces Carnival in suburban Tinley Park, Chicago, causing chaos and forcing the event's cancellation. The teenagers responded to a call on social media to gather at the carnival and began fighting with each other, jumping on cars, and running through parking lots. A police officer was injured while trying to break up a fight, and five teenagers were issued citations for fighting in public. The carnival was canceled on Sunday after learning that another teen flash mob was being planned on social media.
