Tragic Consequences: Michigan Mom's Addiction Claims Lives of 3 Sons

Leticia Marie Gonzales, a Michigan mother, has been sentenced to up to five years in prison for crashing her car into a retention pond while driving under the influence, resulting in the death of her three sons. Gonzales pleaded no contest to one count of operating while intoxicated causing serious injury and three misdemeanor charges of a moving violation causing death. The judge sentenced her to a minimum of two years and a maximum of five years in prison for operating under the influence causing serious injury, with concurrent jail time for each charge of moving violation causing death. Gonzales expressed remorse and asked for forgiveness before the sentencing.
