Tragic Stabbing Incident: Teen Charged with Murder on Staten Island Bus

A 14-year-old boy has been charged with murder, manslaughter, and criminal possession of a weapon in the fatal stabbing of a 13-year-old on a bus in Staten Island. The incident, believed to be gang-related, occurred during an argument where a knife was seen and gang signs were flashed. The victim, identified as Syles Ular, was stabbed multiple times and pronounced dead at the hospital. The suspect fled the scene but was apprehended by a retired police sergeant. Other incidents involving weapons and teenagers were also reported on the same day in Brooklyn and Manhattan.
