US Fugitive Accused of Killing Boston Nurse Escapes Police Custody in Kenya

Kevin Adam Kinyanjui Kangethe, accused of killing his girlfriend in Massachusetts and leaving her body at Logan Airport, escaped from police custody in Kenya after slipping out of a police station and jumping into a privately owned minivan. Four police officers are in custody and being questioned. Kangethe had been detained pending extradition to face a first-degree murder charge. His escape has raised suspicions of corruption within the police force, as other suspected killers have also escaped custody in the past.
