"US Marshals Kill Suspect Wanted in Robbery of Brooklyn 'Bling' Bishop"

Shamar Leggette, a serial armed robber and one of New York's most wanted fugitives, was killed by US Marshals outside a New Jersey hotel while being sought for a series of recent armed robberies, including a $1 million heist at a Brooklyn church. The pastor of the church, Lamor Whitehead, forgave Leggette and offered to conduct his funeral service free of charge. Meanwhile, Whitehead himself is facing a fraud and extortion trial next month.
