Wisconsin deputy killed in vehicle escape attempt.

A man was fatally shot by a sheriff's deputy in Genoa, Wisconsin, after he drove away from a traffic stop with a deputy hanging from the side of his vehicle. The incident occurred after deputies were sent to a residence for a welfare check. The deputy who shot the man has been placed on administrative assignment, and the Wisconsin Department of Justice Division of Criminal Investigation is conducting an investigation.
