YouTuber Admits to Crashing Plane for Online Views and Sponsorship Deal.

YouTube pilot Trevor Jacob pleaded guilty to a felony charge of obstruction after deliberately destroying the wreckage of a plane he intentionally crashed to make a promotional video for a wallet brand. Jacob lied to investigators about the location of the wreckage and destroyed it with the intent to obstruct federal authorities. He faces up to 20 years in federal prison and will make his initial court appearance in the coming weeks.
