Historic Dayton Buildings Ravaged by Massive Fires.

The Traxler Mansion, a historic property listed on the National Park Service’s Register of Historic Places database, caught fire in Dayton, Ohio. The mansion was reportedly close to being revitalized and sold at the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Auction Sale on May 4th. Preservation Dayton, Inc. had been monitoring the building and using it through the tax foreclosure process. The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
