High school senior offered admission to 170+ colleges and $9M in scholarships, shattering records.

A 16-year-old high school senior from Louisiana, Dennis Maliq Barnes, has received over 170 college acceptance letters and more than $9 million in scholarship offers. Barnes, who has a 4.98 GPA and is graduating two years early, has set a new world record, according to school officials who have reached out to the Guinness Book of World Records. Barnes plans to pursue computer science and then attend law school, and will announce his final decision in early May before graduation. He credits his family, friends, and faith in God for his accomplishments and advises others to prioritize education and keep God in the mix.
