"Intoxicated Third Grade Teacher Arrested for Drunken Behavior on First Day of School"

A third-grade teacher in Oklahoma was arrested for public intoxication after staff members noticed she was acting strangely and found a cup allegedly filled with wine in her possession. Kimberly Coates, 53, was taken out of her classroom on the first day of school and questioned by school administrators and a police officer. She initially denied consuming alcohol at school but later admitted to drinking half a box of wine until 3 am that morning. Coates blew a 0.24 on a breathalyzer test, three times the legal driving limit. She was arrested and taken to jail on the anticipated charge of public intoxication.
