New Orleans Student Receives Over $9 Million in Scholarship Offers.

Dennis Maliq Barnes, a 16-year-old senior at the International High School of New Orleans, has received scholarship offers from around 130 colleges and universities, totaling more than $9 million. Barnes has a 4.98 GPA, has earned 27 college credits, and is fluent in Spanish. He plans to major in computer science but is also considering law school. Barnes credits his success to his strong Christian faith and the support of his school's college admissions counselor. He has not yet decided where he will attend college but is open to exploring options outside of New Orleans.
