UNC Med School Abandons DEI Framework.

The University of North Carolina (UNC) medical school has disbanded its diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) task force without implementing its recommendations, including integrating social justice into the school's curriculum. UNC had previously banned DEI statements from admission, hiring, promotion and tenure. The move has been praised by Color Us United, which advocates for a race-blind society, and plans to take UNC's decision to other medical schools in the country to rid medicine of DEI's divisive influence.
