Maine Town Mourns Heroic Town Manager Who Saved Son from Icy Pond

Kevin Howell, a town manager in Carmel, Maine, tragically died while saving his four-year-old son from an icy pond. After falling through the ice, Howell managed to lift his son out of the water and instructed him to get help. His wife, Katie, also fell into the pond while trying to aid him. Despite efforts to rescue him, Howell was later found in the water and pronounced dead.
