Michigan woman walks graduation stage while in labor with first child

Kelsey Hudie, a Michigan woman who was 38 weeks pregnant and dilated, attended her graduation ceremony at Henry Ford College while in the early stages of labor. After receiving her diploma, she went straight to the hospital and gave birth to a baby girl. The college faculty allowed her to sit on stage and called her name earlier in the program than initially planned. Hudie studied liberal arts and plans to become a teacher.
