Surge in Migrant Families with Children Crossing US Border in Just Two Months

The number of migrant families with children crossing the southern border has nearly tripled in the past two months, raising concerns among senior administration officials about a potential increase in overall migrant crossings. While single adults still make up the largest demographic, families are the fastest-growing group of undocumented border crossers.
