Fired cop who shot Breonna Taylor hired as sheriff's deputy.

Myles Cosgrove, the former Louisville police detective who was fired for his role in the shooting of Breonna Taylor, has been hired as a deputy sheriff by the Carroll County Sheriff's Office in Kentucky. Cosgrove was one of three officers involved in the botched "no-knock" raid on Taylor's apartment in March 2020, which resulted in her death and sparked nationwide protests against police brutality and racial bias. Despite being terminated by the Louisville police for violating use-of-force procedures and failing to activate his body camera, Cosgrove was not charged in Taylor's death and passed a background check to become a deputy sheriff.
