Multiple First Responders Honored with Medal of Valor by President Biden

Littleton Police Department's Cpl. Jeffrey Farmer was awarded the Medal of Valor by President Joe Biden for his bravery in saving the life of Officer David Snook while being shot at and fighting his own serious injury. Farmer dragged Snook to safety despite being met with gunfire from the suspect, Rigoberto Valles Dominguez, who was able to escape. The Medal of Valor is awarded annually to public safety officers who showed extraordinary acts of heroism and courage, regardless of their own safety, in an effort to protect another life.
