Police SUV Crashes Into Missouri Gay Bar After Running Red Light, Lawyer Claims

Surveillance footage shared by an attorney for a St. Louis bar shows that the police officer who crashed into the bar ran a red light moments before the incident. The officer, who was distracted by his police radio, overcorrected and collided with the bar's front wall. The co-owner of the bar was arrested and charged with assault and resisting arrest, but the felony charge was later reduced to a misdemeanor. The police department has not released body camera footage of the incident, and the officers involved remain on active duty while the incident is being investigated.
