"Federal Appeals Court Orders Peter Navarro to Report to Prison for Ignoring Subpoena"

Peter Navarro, a senior aide to Donald Trump, has been ordered to report to prison by March 19 for refusing to testify before Congress about his involvement in efforts to overturn the 2020 election. The U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit ruled that Navarro's appeal does not present substantial questions likely to undo his conviction or four-month sentence. Navarro and former Trump strategist Steve Bannon are both fighting prison sentences for contempt of Congress after ignoring subpoenas from the House committee investigating the Jan. 6 attack. Navarro's claim of executive privilege was dismissed by the judges, and he can still appeal to the Supreme Court.
