Upcoming State Laws: Indiana, Minnesota, Tennessee, Kentucky

Indiana lawmakers have passed several new laws during the 2023 legislative session, set to go into effect on July 1. These include a pilot program for speed cameras in work zones, a "buffer zone" for police investigations, allowing minors in bar areas with parental supervision, access to birth control through pharmacists, restrictions on third-party food delivery apps, an anti-bullying law known as TB3, a process for contesting books in school libraries, restrictions on gender-transitioning care for minors, requirements for AEDs at school events, an extension of the gas tax increase, and a ban on machine gun conversion devices.
