The Los Angeles Dodgers have re-invited the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence to their Pride Night on June 16 after receiving backlash for disinviting them. The nonprofit organization, which fundraises and volunteers to help the LGBTQ+ community, dresses in drag as nuns, which some conservative Catholic organizations take issue with. The Dodgers issued a statement apologizing to the Sisters and the LGBTQ+ community, and the Sisters have accepted the invitation. The Los Angeles LGBT Center also announced that they will participate in the event again.
