Frankfort Mom’s Texts About Clancy Trial Emerge Hours Before Tragic Killing

Prosecutors say Frankfort mother Corie A. Walsh had been actively discussing the Lindsay Clancy murder trial with friends in group texts just hours before authorities say she killed her 2-year-old son Barrett and attempted to harm herself; a neighbor discovered Barrett hanging in the basement and Walsh in a tub of bloody water. Walsh admitted to officers that she killed the child, allegedly saying he was the devil and the anti-Christ. She’s charged with three counts of first-degree murder and held for medical treatment as investigators review evidence, including a forensic analysis of her phone. An infant and two school-aged children were unharmed in the home.
