Multiple Shootings on North and Northeast Side Leave Child Dead and Others Injured

A man was arrested for shooting a woman and two children, killing one of them, at a home on the North Side of San Antonio. Stephen Michael Clare, 50, was charged with capital murder and two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. The victims were taken to a local hospital for surgery, and the conditions of the woman and other child are unclear at this time. Two boys, ages 8 and 11, were able to escape the home. The shooting is believed to be a result of domestic violence.
