Arrest Made in Lexington Charles Young Park Mass Shooting; 16-year-old Di’Zhon Robertson Identified

Lexington police say 18-year-old Jametrius M. Griffin has been arrested and charged with murder, assault and tampering with physical evidence in the Charles Young Park mass shooting. The incident left 16-year-old Di’Zhon Robertson dead and four others injured (ages 4, 14, 39, and 41). Griffin is scheduled for an arraignment Monday, Aug. 17 at 1 p.m. Investigators are seeking tips, and community support services will be available at the Dunbar Community Center on Monday afternoon and evening for those affected by the shooting.
