Gunfire at Nashville Sams Club leaves Frito-Lay employee dead, investigation underway

A 55-year-old Frito-Lay employee, Paris Carlock of Murfreesboro, died after a bullet pierced the side wall of a Sam’s Club on Antioch Pike in Nashville. He was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries. Police say the gunfire was connected to an argument that began inside nearby Lavo Lounge and continued outside, with shots heard as vehicles left. Part of Antioch Pike was blocked while detectives investigated, and authorities are asking for tips via Nashville Crime Stoppers.
