Remains at Palomar Mountain Not Linked to Missing Oceanside Nurse

Remains found at Palomar Mountain State Park are not believed to be Angelica Brophy, the Oceanside nurse who has been missing. Investigators say the dark conditions prevented a clear identification and the remains’ sex or injuries are unknown. Oceanside Police confirmed the remains do not appear to be Brophy, and the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department continues its investigation as the case remains active.
