Tri-State head-on crash leaves two dead, two critically injured

A head-on crash on US-52 near West Harrison in Dearborn County, Indiana killed Kimora Manuel (21) and Le’Marea Holmes (22) and left Kelis Manuel (23) and another rear-seat passenger with life-threatening injuries after a westbound Honda Civic attempted to pass in a no-passing zone and struck an eastbound semi-truck. The semi driver had minor injuries. Alcohol is suspected and heavy rain may have contributed; investigators are still examining factors and the crash remains under investigation.
